The top 10 pet bloggers in Canada
Posted October 17, 2018 04:04:01 The pet industry is one of the most powerful industries in Canada, but some of the top bloggers have gone unpublicized, making them a target for criticism.
Pet blogger Peter Sagin is one example.
“I’ve been a dog owner for 25 years and a pet owner for 20,” said Sagin, who also owns and manages a pet photography business.
“So I’m definitely going to continue to do that.”
Sagin also owns the online blog petfishingclub.ca and the online pet store, PetFishing Club Canada.
“As a blogger, it’s a very important role to be a part of the community,” he said.
“You get to have your voice heard and it’s really valuable to know that there’s a lot of people out there that are passionate about this, and they want to support the industry.”
But while Sagin does his part to get his message out, he says he can’t control what others do with their blogs.
“The Internet has been so successful in spreading a lot more information that it’s easier for them to take advantage of that, and I’m not sure they’re aware that they’re doing it,” he explained.
“But the more the public knows about the industry, the better.”
One pet blogger in particular has made headlines for his support of his own pet.
The Pet Fishing Club, a website for pet photographers, has a new focus on the industry as a whole.
It has also expanded to offer pet food recipes, dog breeds, and the best of the breed.
But even with such a wide variety of products and services, Sagin says he thinks the best way to support his community is through the blog.
“People are always looking for a reason to say, ‘I’m going to be better with my pets than the person next door.’ “
